Do You Care About Finances When You're Busy?
I try to. But not as much as I should. This has been a very very busy month for me and I haven't done much in the area of personal finance.
Granted, I've gotten a lot of things on "cruise control" but I haven't spent the time to find out new things and be proactive.
However, on that note, I think I have all my tax information, so I'm going to attempt to do my taxes soon and that will be my personal finance focus for the next few weeks.

I know that when I get busy a lot of the finances get put on cruise control. Most of the payments I need to make are automated so they take care of themselves but reviewing my limited portfolio just doesn't really happen.
Over the long term your financial situation is extremely important but in the short term sometimes there are things that need your attention first.
Having most of my financial decisions on cruise control helps me get through busy periods, however I fell guilty if I don't spend at least a few minutes on them.
Well you shouldnt obsess about money, but definitely --- it's important to consider how your decisions affect your wallet. The Business of Me as I like to call it.. You are the CEO and the CFO.
It is so easy to let your attention drift when you're busy. Now, theoretically, if you're busy at work, you are likely improving your financial position by solidifying your worklife, perhaps even moving up in the company.
But I have found that my personal finances are of such a high interest to me, that I find the time to devote.
Good to see you haven't updated your blog in a year! I assume that's the same level of follow-through you expend with the rest of your life.
